Your numbers, finally in context.
Benchmark sets your monthly performance against an anonymous pool of hotels like yours — average, median, and exactly where you rank. Because a 5% occupancy dip means one thing if the market fell 7%, and the opposite if it grew 3%.
Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR — plus the industry-standard market indexes (MPI, ARI, RGI) — three months ahead, on one page. No expensive benchmarking subscription. Anonymous by design, and entirely opt-in.
The half of the picture you've been missing.
Every report you already run tells you how you did. None of them tells you how you did compared to everyone in your situation — the same country, the same star rating, the same kind of property.
Benchmark closes that gap. For each metric you see your own value, the pool average and median, the percentage gap, your rank in the field, your percentile, and where you sit on the pool's min–median–max spread. A drop is reassuring when the whole market dropped further. A flat month is a warning when the market climbed.
- Your value — the exact number your live reports already show, never a separate calculation
- Pool average + median — the middle of the field, robust to outliers
- Gap in % — how far above or below the pool you sit
- Rank — "2nd of 7", plus your percentile in the field
- Spread — your marker on the pool min–median–max bar
Industry-standard indexes — without the enterprise price tag.
The hotel industry measures market position with three indexes: MPI for occupancy, ARI for rate, RGI for the two combined. 100 is par — exactly the pool average. Above 100 you're beating the field; below, you're trailing it.
Benchmark gives you all three, every month, from your anonymous peer pool — built in, with no separate benchmarking subscription to buy. MPI 108, ARI 95, RGI 103 reads in a single glance: higher occupancy, lower rate, and still ahead of the market overall.
- MPI — Market Penetration Index · your occupancy vs the pool
- ARI — Average Rate Index · your ADR vs the pool
- RGI — Revenue Generation Index · your RevPAR vs the pool, the one number that sums it up
- 100 = par · above 100 reads green, below 100 red · at a glance
You choose who you're measured against.
Benchmark builds your peer group from tags — country, star rating, property type, location. Start with the closest match (everything that describes you) for the tightest, most-similar pool. Loosen a tag to widen it: drop "5-star" and you're measured against every hotel in your country.
It only ever offers your own tags — you can't peek at the luxury segment if you're not luxury. The benchmark is always about hotels genuinely like yours.
- Peer group by tag — country, stars, type, theme, combined
- Narrow = closest peers · loosen a tag = a wider market view
- Only your own tags — always a like-for-like comparison
- Change the selection anytime — the whole dashboard follows
Anonymous. Opt-in. Yours to revisit.
Benchmark is entirely your choice. You decide whether to take part — and you can change that decision every 30 days. No lock-in, no one-way door.
The pool is anonymous by design. You never see a named hotel — only aggregates: average, median, the spread. And a pool only ever appears when at least three peers match, so no single property's numbers can be reverse-engineered. You contribute the same way: one anonymous voice in the field, never identifiable.
- Opt in or out — and revisit the choice every 30 days
- Never a named competitor — only pool aggregates
- A 3-hotel minimum before any pool value appears
- You stay anonymous in every pool you join
Rank. Act. Explain.
Beyond the raw comparison, Benchmark turns the pool into three things you can use in the room — a defensible rank, a clear next move, and a summary an owner can read.
Rank and percentile for every metric — "2nd of 7", with your marker on the min–median–max bar. More honest than a raw average, which a single outlier can distort.
The biggest gap below the pool is your catch-up opportunity; the biggest lead is your strength to market. Ahead on everything? It flags the lead to defend — never an empty tile.
A three-to-five-sentence narrative in plain, owner-ready language: where you're ahead, where you trail, what it adds up to. Ready to paste into the review deck.
Not where you were. Where you're heading.
Most benchmarks look backward — last month, last year. Benchmark looks forward: this month and the next two, built from confirmed on-the-books bookings. You see the trajectory while you can still change it.
Three monthly cards, side by side — so an index sliding 108 → 95 → 92 toward the end of the season is visible now, not in the post-mortem.
- This month + the next two — three months on one page
- Built from confirmed forward bookings, not last year's history
- Five metrics — occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, plus 7-day pickup on occupancy and rate
- The trend across the three months, at a glance

Benchmark isn't an add-on — it's built into the platform for every subscriber. Opt in whenever you're ready, pick your peer tags, and the dashboard fills in. The only requirements are fresh data and at least three matching peers in your chosen pool.

In a 45–60 minute walkthrough we run Peaqplus on our live demo environment, build a peer pool from tags, and read the rank, the index trio, the spread, and the owner summary together — all populated, all live.
