A tile is not a chart. A tile is a question with the answer baked in. "What is my OTB MTD?" — €312,840. "Where is pickup slowing?" — Weekend W11–W12. "Am I on track vs budget?" — 102%.

You can scan an entire 15-tile dashboard in 30 seconds. The visual hierarchy does the work: bigger numbers = bigger signals, accent borders = anomalies, traffic lights on the Executive view.

Tiles render the moment their data is ready.

Every tile is its own query. Fast tiles render first, heavier ones follow — you read the dashboard as it materializes, not in a single blank-and-flash. No spinner-of-doom while the slowest query holds everyone hostage.

Same answer never gets calculated twice in the same day. Once a tile is ready, it stays ready — and only refreshes when the next PMS upload changes the underlying data.

Every Insight loads with an AI summary at the top — a 2-3 sentence narrative explaining what the tiles are saying. Generated when you open the dashboard, cached per-day, re-runs when new data lands.

It is not a sales pitch and it is not a generic 'KPIs are trending'. It surfaces the specific signals: which segment is decelerating, which weekend is at risk, which compset move changed your position. Reads like a colleague who looked at the data before you did.

• Traffic-light rules — each KPI has its own threshold (vs budget, vs LY same-point, vs market). Green = on or above. Amber = drift. Red = breach.
• Owner-presentable — no jargon on the tile. Hover for the calculation. Click for the report.
• Scheduled as email — Monday morning, in the inbox. No login required to read the summary.
• Linked to Discussion — every red KPI can be opened in a thread, assigned to a person, tracked to resolution.

Open the date picker. The whole Insight shows that past day. Pickup last Tuesday, Executive Summary three weeks ago, Overview the morning before that group cancelled.

Toggle Tentative mode. Tiles show the Budget-projected state instead of actuals. Useful for "what if this all plays out" forward views and committee presentations.

Right-click any tile. Open a thread. Tag a colleague. The conversation is anchored to that tile, that snapshot, that question — and shows up in the Discussions list.

Where YoY comparison appears (Pickup, Pace, Performance), the Same Point toggle is at the top — week-position-aware, not date-aligned.
